Over the age of 37 an exceptional request for exemption can be made to the Companions who will consider your application in terms of your professional background and your commitment to the transmission of your knowledge.
The Companion Union offers you the possibility to join the companionship as itinerant or sedentary (without obligation to make its Tour de France) while following the steps necessary to be recognized one day Companion of the Tour de France des Devoirs Unis.
This particularity exists since the creation of the Companion Union in 1889 in order to allow professionals sharing our values of transmission, sharing and fraternity, but having not had the younger opportunity to go to the Tour de France, to join the Companion.
