Between Meeting and History This event will be a meeting place and exchange between various
Companion societies, in order to offer a moment of openness allowing
discover companionship to the general public. Between discussions, debates and sharing ideas, we hope to strengthen the links between the various actors involved in companionship.
Whether you are part of companion societies or just curious this event promises
to be a rich and inspiring experience for all!
The day will be moderated by:
François Icher:
He will talk about the birth and history of societies
Companions. Doctor of history, specialist of companionship and cathedral yards. He is the author of many books considered to be references, several of which have been translated into countries as diverse as the United States.
Germany, the United States or Japan. Inspector of Honorary Academy and Associate Researcher
CNRS.
Jean François Ferraton :
It will deal with the physical orientation of religious buildings. He is a companion of the United Duties, creator of
liturgical furniture (al altars, ambons, baptisteries, crosses, tabernacles) and stained glass for about thirty years.
He published Rites et Mysteries des Compagnonnages, co-edited by Glénat-Le Cerf and Au l'écoute de la Lumière at Invenit.
He recently collaborated in No. 19 of the Fragments of Companion's History on Companions of Craftsmen
foreign stone.
