En route pour Sibiu !

On Monday 17 July 6 traveling companions left Anglet (Pyrénées-atlantique) to reach the village of Sibiu in Romania by auto-stop. For several years now, the house of the companions of Sibiu has been welcoming itinerants from the various companion societies members of the Confederation of European Companions (CCEG) to enter the building and participate in demonstrations that highlight know-how and companionship.

This year, three young aspirants of the Companion Union are part of the journey: Audrey, dory, known as Agenaise, Mathilde, sculptor on stone, known as Tourangelle and Céline, vitraillist, known as Parisienne. They travel with Damien, a companion stone tailor of the Devoirs (Fédération Compagnonnique), says Guyanne the Wish of Good Doing of Moissac, Finn Schnaps, German locksmith member of the Free Travellers Society and Tobias Wright, English stone tailor.

The first stage took place in Bordeaux in a Union stone tailor companion, the second to Brive's cayenne, and our small group currently joins Germany and then crosses Hungary and then arrives in Sibiu.

Sharing, dating, mutual aid and travel!

This is an experience we will come back to in our next issue of Le Compagnonnage.
