It's at the invitation of the fellow salter-maroquiner Fabrice Bordet, trainer at the CFA du Pays de Montbéliard, Daniel Gonon, vice-president of the Companion Union, and Frédéric Thibaut, editor of the journal Le Compagnonnage, met with many participants in vocational training in Montbéliard (Bourgogne-France-Comté).

This meeting is part of the Companion Union's desire to develop new partnerships in the regions on professional development issues and the mobility of young apprentices as part of their apprenticeship.
After visiting the leather goods workshops and discovering the work of the CFA students with Christophe Straumann, Director of the CFA, Valérie Fiol, head of the leather goods division at the CFA of the Pays de Montbéliard-Ecole Boudard and Valentin Manniez, voluntary civic service a meeting took place with Frédérique CLERE, principal of the LP Les Huisselets and director of the CMQ Maroquinerie Métiers d'art CFB and Abdel Essahlaoui, operational director of the CMQ Maroquinerie Métiers d'art CFB.
All the participants of this first meeting therefore hope to see a new partnership in 2023 so that they can offer young people a double curriculum: training through apprenticeship and continuing training, while receiving the support of the Companion Union's companions and preparing them for the round of France.
