For a beautiful convention it was a beautiful convention of reunion, thanks to the perfect organization of companions, Mother and young people of our Cayenne dynamic of Brive-la-Gaillarde!
Country Dominique Saffré, Nantais the Philosophy of the Union, outgoing President-General, was reappointed for a new three-year term with a partly renewed Board of Directors.
This important meeting was also the opportunity to welcome the representatives of the young itinerant and sedentary of the Tour de France for their gathering.
To note the renewal of the unwavering commitment of the Companion Union to the Confederation of European Companions (CCEG) in order to strengthen and further develop the journey of our young people beyond our borders and the important presence within the Union Companion of young women in trades since the opening to the mix in 2020 since they now account for 21% of the workforce among members and aspirants, especially in occupations in total renewal within our companion society (jewelry, stained glass, fashion trades ...) and thanks to the training partnerships established for two years with CFAs and professional high schools throughout the territory.
The Companion Union must regain its place in its creation in 1889 by reaffirming its values of openness and innovation in the service of a hard-working youth concerned with emancipation through work, travel and sharing!
