Companion Union Companions working in the metal field are structured within a « Business Group » in order to monitor the progress of courses of young apprentices and itinerants: drawings and models must be regularly presented to the Companions before they can claim to become aspiring and Companion.
The Companion Union does not have a dedicated training centre but actively collaborates with different training centres where young people wishing to pass a CAP can be registered before leaving for the Tour de France.
Once enrolled in a training centre and the Companion Union, young learners are invited to participate in the various professional development courses offered by the Trade Group in different cities.
