This is the objective of the Companion Union and the Le Gué vocational school in Tresmes (77) through the signing of the partnership agreement signed on Thursday 11 May 2023 by Mrs Anselmo, Provider, and Mr Saffré, National President of the Companion Union.
A first meeting was held in November 2022 at the lycée in order to evoke the willingness of the Union's companions to develop a field that has not been represented on the Tour de France for too long.
To do this, The partnership agreement now proposes to direct young people who wish to train in these professions and to join the Le Gué high school in Tresmes. Once enrolled in high school, students will also be registered as members of the cayenne de Paris and will be able to take advantage of the courses and internships offered by the companions. Once they graduate, they will have the opportunity to go on the tour of France or pursue a higher education.
The challenges of mobility and recognition of the profession through companionship are essential aspects of this partnership.
The upper secondary school also has an intern able to accommodate young people enrolled in the Companion Union.
